3. Data Tracking and Linking
Data Linked to You
The information we collect (Contact Information, Service Preferences, Consent Records, Identifiers, and Usage Data) is linked to your identity so we can coordinate sign-up and pay your Kickback.
Data Used to Track You
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated.
4. Information Sharing
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: With operations vendors who help us operate our services (database, email, SMS, analytics, workflow automation — for example, Supabase for our database; Zapier for routing leads to our operations tooling)
- Business Partners: With the underlying service providers you ask us to connect you to (e.g., internet, TV, security, solar, etc.) so they can quote, qualify, and install your service. Those providers will use your information under their own privacy policies.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
- Business Transfers: In connection with mergers or acquisitions
- With Your Consent: When you explicitly agree to sharing
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. This includes encryption of data in transit and at rest, regular security audits, and strict access controls including row-level security on our database.
6. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Opt-out of marketing communications
- Export your data in a portable format
- Restrict processing of your data
- Object to certain uses of your information
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@kickbackapp.io.
7. TCPA Compliance
We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). When you check the “I agree to be contacted” box on the Kickback Connect form, you give your prior express written consent to receive calls, texts, and emails about the services you selected — including through automated technology, artificial voices, or pre-recorded messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you may revoke it at any time. We maintain records of consent and provide simple opt-out mechanisms (reply STOP, click unsubscribe, or email us). See our full TCPA Compliance Notice for details.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information.
9. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, pay any Kickback owed, and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. TCPA consent records are retained for at least four years from the date of last contact, consistent with FCC recordkeeping practice. When information is no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify it within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
10. International Data Transfers
Kickback Connect is intended for users in the United States. Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with this privacy policy.
11. Changes to This Policy
